Stefano Cristaldi is a senior engineering expert with distinctive experience in engineering project management, prototyping, industrializing and leading delivery of new process and product innovation. With more than 13 years of experience in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods industry, he has held various roles in Engineering and Operations in Europe, America and MEA regions. Stefano holds a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Palermo, Italy.

Currently the Director of Environmental Engineering for Operations at Philip Morris International, Stefano coordinates the design, development and delivery of strategic technology enabled programs to support PMI’s sustainability agenda within Operations. Stefano is overseeing the implementation of energy and process efficiency initiatives, the introduction of new innovative technologies to support the manufacturing decarbonization and water efficiency roadmap, and is designing the energy and utilities backbone of our production facilities, in line with company’s aspirations and sustainability commitments.
