Stefan background is Engineering, and he holds a diploma in Business Administration. He started work at a Tool Shop and Injection Molding company which supplied the automotive and electronic industry and joined the Life Science/Healthcare industry soon after. His career includes positions in family-owned businesses, large stock exchange listed companies and small start-ups. His experienced covers besides Quality and Regulatory also R&D, Operations, Procurement, Finance, Health & Safety and Environment. He is a co- inventor on several patents. Stefan served 10 years at Smiths Group Plc. in various Quality, Regulatory and Environmental positions, and later 10 years at DentsplySirona Inc., most recently as their VP Quality and Regulatory for the Implants business. Since 2017 he is SVP Regulatory Affairs at Paul Hartmann AG in Germany, a 2.3 B€ global provider of healthcare products and services. He is a certified Environmental Management Systems Auditor (TUEV), certified Quality Auditor (ASQ) und certified Executive Coach (Henley University) with now more than 30 years’ experience in the Life Science industry.
