Satoshi Motoda is a researcher for Polymer Materials Research Laboratory in Kuraray Co., Ltd. which is a Japanese specialty chemical maker. He received his M.Eng. at the Nagoya University through the study of living polymerization. He has worked in Kuraray for over 12 years, including at R&D, sales planning, and marketing for new polymer business. In particular, he is currently engaged in leading the project exploring packaging applications for new sustainable materials, drawing on his experience in marketing elastomer materials for food and medical packaging.
