Peter Lengyel is President & CEO of Safran USA, where he leads the strategic development of transatlantic and U.S.-based opportunities for Safran’s 30 companies and joint ventures. With over a decade at the helm, he oversees corporate business development, government affairs, and executive engagement across the aerospace and defense sectors. Prior to joining Safran, he served in the U.S. Navy, including as Naval Attaché for Defense Cooperation in Paris and Commanding Officer of Navy Recruiting District Michigan. His career includes key leadership roles supporting tactical operations and multinational defense cooperation. He holds an Executive MBA from the Safran Program supported by Duke University and HEC Paris.
