He is a distinguished leader in the fresh food and meal industries, specializing in short shelf life perishable foods, strategic development, and financial economics. As CEO, his role is to maintain this positive momentum, leading his team to help partners deliver fresh meals at scale. Before founding FreshRealm, Michael held positions at Calavo Growers, Craig-Hallum Capital Group, Telluride Asset Management, Rocket Capital Management, Prudential Financial, and MJSK. Since founding FreshRealm in 2013, he has steered the company towards its mission: to power the food industry to deliver fresh meals to everyone, every day, everywhere. He helps allow FreshRealm’s partners to innovate their fresh meal offerings while benefiting from scale at a fraction of the cost. Under his leadership, FreshRealm provides unmatched fresh scale, culinary expertise, fully customized meal options, and efficient nationwide operations and supply chain management for high-quality meal products. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Financial Economics from Gustavus Adolphus College.
