About the Speaker: Megan Marshall is the Publisher of Edible Chicago, where she leads the publication’s focus on showcasing makers, producers, and innovators in the sustainable food system space. She has been in this role since January 2023. Alongside her work at Edible Chicago, she is the VP, Program Director at Edelman. Previously, she was the Director of Operations at Chicago’s Green City Market and Festival Manager at Tribune Publishing Company. She has a rich background in event operations from her time at Red Frog Events. Megan earned a Master of Arts in Food Studies from New York University and a Bachelor of Arts in American Social Movements from Indiana University Bloomington. Certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP) and a Cicerone® Certified Beer Server, she actively supports her community through volunteering with organizations like the Avondale Chamber of Commerce and the Avondale Mutual Aid Network.
