Lina Karlsson, PhD, is the Executive Vice President of Antiseptics at Mölnlycke, a role she has held since 2021. The current focus in the antiseptics field is around customer centric innovations to help prevent surgical site infections in a, for patient and caregivers, intuitive way. She is also serving as director of the board in Dignitana, a medical device company selling and developing scalp cooling systems for hair loss prevention during cancer treatment. Prior to her current position, she served as the Global Director of R&D Operating Room Solutions, at Mölnlycke. She has experience in senior global positions in Research and Development and Operations at Gambro and Baxter where her focus was on developing the next generation dialysis system. She also gained experience in operational excellence and organization and strategy development in those positions. She holds a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering, a Ph.D. in Polymer Science, and an Executive MBA.
