John Brooks is Director of R&D Packaging at Lindt & Sprüngli USA. He is an accomplished packaging expert with nearly two decades of experience in packaging innovation, sustainability, and product development. As Director of R&D Packaging, he leads packaging research and development strategies, driving innovation and efficiency in premium confectionery packaging. Prior to Lindt, he spent over four years at The Hershey Company as a Staff Engineer in Packaging Innovation and Sustainability, where he played a key role in developing sustainable packaging solutions and enhancing product protection. His career also includes senior packaging engineering roles at Newell Brands, JELD-WEN, and Techtronic Industries, where he managed packaging designs across multiple product categories. He holds a B.S. in Packaging Science from Clemson University.
