Howard Lancaster is a passionate Quality leader with a proven track record in Quality & Food Safety, Research & Development, manufacturing technologies and IT systems across multiple categories of the Food Industry. He specialises in Infant Formula Nutrition and Prestige Cosmetics Beauty. Born in Southampton, United Kingdom, he is a seasoned traveler with extensive firsthand experience working and living in diverse countries throughout Europe, Russia, and Asia. He began his career in 1988, in Research & Development at Nabisco and Danone (today Mondelez), driving innovation and transferring unique technologies across Europe, Russia and Asia. In 1999, he joined the Dairy division of Danone and held leadership positions in Quality & Food Safety at plant (Europe), Regional (MEA) and corporate level (Worldwide). In 2010, Howard was nominated Food Safety and Quality Operations Director for the specialised Infant Nutrition division in Amsterdam before moving to Singapore as the Regional Quality & Food Safety Director for Asia Pacific. In 2017, his focus changed from caring for consumers on the inside, to caring for consumers on the outside, when he moved to Estée Lauder Companies in Switzerland as VP Quality EMEA. Howard is married with two children. During challenging times, his wife, a French Yoga teacher, asks him, “What are you running after?” Outside of the fact that he likes jogging regularly, it’s about adding value by building teams that can create a better tomorrow.
