Herman van Niekerk is the Senior Director of Manufacturing for Appetizers in Central Europe at McCain Foods. He studied at Cape Peninsula University of Technology and brings over 14 years of experience with McCain, having transitioned from roles in South Africa to the Netherlands. During his tenure, Herman has served as a Plant Manager, Manufacturing Director, and Global Maintenance Director, overseeing 56 factories worldwide. Prior to joining McCain, he worked with Nampak, gaining valuable industry experience. His extensive background in manufacturing and leadership has significantly contributed to McCain’s operational excellence and innovation in the frozen food sector. He is based in the southern Netherlands.
