Elena Vyboldina is the Director of International Trade, Sustainability and Responsible Sourcing at the European Association of Metals (Eurometaux), a key trade association for non-ferrous metals producers and recyclers. In this role, she has been instrumental in government affairs where she is aligning public policy with business objectives. Her role entails managing teams, navigating political landscapes, and conducting extensive policy analysis in the metals sector. She previously worked in government affairs at Cefic (European Chemical Industry Council), as a legal consultant at Gide Loyrette Nouel and as a stagiaire at the European Commission. She holds master’s degrees in International Law and Economics from the University of Bern and in Law, Economics, and Finance from the State University of St. Petersburg.
