Profile

Dan VonDielingen is the Sr Vice President-Global Parenteral Network Expansion responsible for the start-up and ramp of new state-of-the-art parenteral sites within Eli Lilly. These facilities expand Lilly’s global manufacturing capacity and advance digital plant initiatives. Most recently, Dan was the Site Head for Lilly’s Research Triangle Park (RTP) manufacturing facility located in Durham, North Carolina. The RTP site was a greenfield build and is a parenteral manufacturing, device assembly, packaging, and laboratory testing site. Dan has been with Eli Lilly for over 25 years holding roles in engineering, quality assurance, and operations across many sites and networks including drug substance, drug product, and external manufacturing. Prior to joining Lilly, Dan worked in the specialty chemical industry in engineering and operations.
Dan has a Bachelors in Chemical Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology and a Masters in Business Administration from Clemson University. Dan serves on the Board of Directors for NC Life Sciences Organization. When not making medicine, Dan enjoys all things outdoors and spending time with his family.
