About the speaker: Carol Dann is a seasoned technologist who currently serves as the Vice President of Information Technology at the National Hockey League (NHL). She is currently working on product and project management to analyze institutional marketing inventory, use data profiling and preparation, and use Machine Learning to schedule NHL Officials. Partnering with vendors and internal resources, Carol has most recently revamped the application delivery management process, defining and implementing a new agile procedure complete with JIRA issue tracking, version control, quality testing against requirements and redundancy. Her previous positions include National Digital Committee Leader and National Board Member for Women in Sports and Events (WISE), roles in the consulting environment and streamlining the Direct Mail Marketing process for American Express. She had also volunteered as a Board of Directors Trustee for Kings Park Youth Athletic Association, in addition to playing a large role in running their basketball program.
