Anna-Karin Wahlström is the Vice President of Quality and Regulatory Affairs at Permobil, a global leader in mobility solutions for individuals with disabilities. Based in Stockholm, she joined Permobil in 2018, initially serving as Director of Regulatory Compliance MDR before moving into her current VP role in October 2022. In her position, Anna-Karin oversees quality management and ensures that Permobil’s products meet stringent global regulatory standards, with a strong emphasis on the European MDR requirements. Anna-Karin brings more than 20 years of expertise in regulatory affairs and quality assurance to her role. Before joining Permobil, she spent nearly 16 years at Cepheid, a prominent diagnostics company, where she was pivotal in advancing regulatory strategies and overseeing quality assurance initiatives for molecular diagnostic products.
