Amanda Humes currently serves as the Director of Packaging Stewardship at Conagra Brands, where she leads strategic initiatives related to Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR), packaging legislation, chemicals of concern, and packaging sustainability. She is responsible for collaborating both internally and externally to achieve Conagra’s 2025 sustainability targets, develop roadmaps for future goals, and monitor emerging legislative and regulatory issues to shape response strategies. She has been with Conagra for 14 years and is a seasoned leader of corporate engineering teams, with extensive experience developing and executing projects focused on supply chain optimization, top- and bottom-line growth, emerging packaging technologies, and improved sustainability outcomes in the food and beverage industry. She brings a lifelong passion and curiosity for how packaging design influences recycling and environmental impact. Amanda holds both a BS and MS in Packaging from Michigan State University. She is based in Omaha, Nebraska, and enjoys global travel, live music, and a good cup of coffee.
