Suheb Haq is the Chief Engineer for Hydrogen Power Generation Systems and Director of Manufacturing & Industrialization at General Motors, a position he has held since August 2024. In this role, he oversees the industrialization and commercialization of GM’s Hydrogen Power Generation Systems, including multi-site manufacturing and the validation and testing of all fuel cell products.

Prior to this, Suheb served as the President of Fuel Cell System Manufacturing LLC (FCSM), a joint venture between General Motors and Honda, from 2017 to June 2024. He was responsible for overseeing the start-up and ongoing operations of the joint venture, which focuses on the mass production of advanced hydrogen fuel cell systems.

Suheb holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Toronto and a Master of Business Administration (Executive MBA) from Bowling Green State University. He has also completed an Executive Leadership Program at Harvard Business School.

Throughout his career, Suheb has demonstrated a strong commitment to advancing zero-emissions technology and has held various leadership positions within General Motors, contributing significantly to the company’s efforts in fuel cell development and sustainable energy solutions.
