Jason Fremstad is the SVP of Supplier Development and Sourcing at Walmart, where he leads a team focused on enhancing Walmart’s global sourcing strategy. His team cultivates new and existing supplier partnerships to strengthen supply resilience, meet customer demand, and advance diversity and inclusion in Walmart’s product offerings. Previously, he served as Walmart’s Vice President of Adult Beverages, transforming the category across Walmart U.S. and earning the 2021 Walmart U.S. Merchandising Vice President of the Year award. His career began at Sam’s Club in 2006, progressing through roles in operations, marketing, merchandising, and strategy. Dedicated to community service, he volunteers with organizations such as the Northwest Arkansas Women’s Shelter, the Northwest Arkansas Children’s Shelter, Big Brothers Big Sisters, the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, and the American Heart Association. He holds a bachelor’s degree in History from the University of Southern Maine, where he graduated cum laude.
