Mahalia brings more than 20 years of experience as an accomplished and results-oriented leader in the biopharma industry. Mahalia’s career span includes facility startup, process development and validation, technology transfer, regulatory and quality compliance, and GMP manufacturing operations in Biologics Drug Substance.

Currently, as Vice President of Process Science, Mahalia and her team are responsible for technology transfer activities for products into large scale manufacturing facility, from first campaign through commercialization; all while maintaining a smooth manufacturing operation and process control, improved efficiency, and scale up of the drug product. FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies in Holly Springs, NC when complete in 2025, will be the largest cell culture CDMO biopharmaceutical manufacturing facility in North America.
