Morten Sogaard is President, Research & TechOps at Astellas Gene Therapies overseeing Research and non-GMP CMC. Before Astellas Morten led Target Sciences at Pfizer – and previously was Global Head of Genome Sciences and a member of Pfizer’s R&D LT and Head of Search & Evaluation for Platform Technologies and Oncology. Morten started his career at Pharmacia, overseeing NextGen immuno-oncology antibody therapeutics and had platform technology leadership roles at AstraZeneca and Boehringer Ingelheim. Morten received his Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Univ. of Copenhagen and did postdoctoral studies at MSKCC with Nobel laureate Jim Rothman.
