Birk Vanderweeën is the Senior Vice President of Global Manufacturing & Supply at Legend Biotech. Before joining Legend Biotech, he served as General Manager at Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson in Belgium. Birk also held several senior leadership positions at Teva Pharmaceuticals, including Senior Vice President Quality Region in Israel and VP/Head of Operations & Quality in Japan. Prior to Teva, he was at AstraZeneca for over seven years in roles such as VP Global Supply Chain Strategy Processes and Analytics in the UK, and VP Operations & Quality in Japan. Birk holds a Master’s degree in Pharmacy from Ghent University, and has completed leadership programs at MIT Sloan School of Management and Harvard Business School.
