Dina Lombardi is the VP, EU, SFP Manufacturing for Philip Morris International, overseeing PMI’s Smoke-Free Products (SFP) production sites in the European Union region. Dina has built an international manufacturing-focused career across a variety of industries, specifically automotive, domestic appliances and tobacco, where she held various managerial roles with increased levels of responsibility. Dina is passionate about manufacturing, continuous improvement and lean manufacturing methodologies, a passion that led to the achievement of impressive business results. She is an empathetic and results-driven leader that puts people at the center of the business strategy, as she believes it’s a key success factor for the achievement of sustainable results. Dina holds a degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Pisa, and a master’s in Lean Manufacturing from Festo. She is Italian, based in Lausanne, Switzerland, and has also lived in Italy, Poland and Indonesia.
