Mrs. Miller is the Vice President of Manufacturing Operational Excellence for Groupe Michelin, based in Clermont-Ferrand, France. She joined Michelin in 1987 and has worked in 4 states in the USA (Kentucky, Alabama, Indiana, South Carolina), and 4 countries (USA, France, Romania and China) and practiced 5 metiers (Engineering, Maintenance, Production Management, Project Management and Progress). In addition to managing plants (3000 personnel), she has also been project manager for renovating existing manufacturing plants and was project manager for building a large (500M euros) greenfield project in China. She is passionate about Operational Excellence in Manufacturing and has experienced/lived it and raised the expectations for it in many cultures and countries. She has served on the board of directors for several not-for-profit boards and has been recognized in the US, China and France. She currently lives in Clermont-Ferrand, France.
