Mario Berra is the SVP of Americas and Global Manufacturing at BIC. He oversees operations at 18 manufacturing plants—five in the Americas, five in Europe, four in India, and four in Africa. He joined BIC in 2012 as the Mexico Industrial Director and was promoted to VP Manufacturing Stationery Americas & Mexico in 2015. In 2020, he assumed his current role as SVP Americas & Global Manufacturing, where he is responsible for ensuring safe operations, optimizing production capacity, efficiency, and resources to meet BIC’s financial and manufacturing objectives. With over 24 years of experience in industrial and manufacturing leadership, Mario has led operations and various projects at global companies such as Electrolux, Samsung, LG, and Daewoo. He has significant experience in international projects, including the start-up of seven new manufacturing sites in South Korea, the U.S., and Mexico. Mario holds a degree in Production Industrial Engineering from IPN in Mexico City.
