For over a decade, Kai Ronecker has been helping companies improve their performance, firmly believing that simpler, faster, and better is always possible. His focus is on effectively increasing companies’ profitability and productivity through Operational Excellence.

Kai most recently served as Head of Operations & Performance, leading the Operational Excellence transformation of nearly 100 production plants with over 10,000 employees at Migros Industrie, one of Switzerland’s largest FMCG producers. Before this role, he was a Partner leading the Operations Practice of the group’s internal management consulting. With his team, he implemented efficiency programs in various plants and led several complex transformation projects at the group level, such as the Lean Transformation of one of Europe’s largest private-label manufacturers. Thanks to his years of experience as a management consultant, his expertise includes organizational development, complexity management, and digital transformation.

He holds an Industrial Engineering degree from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, is a certified Executive Coach, and has furthered his studies at IMD Lausanne and INSEAD Fontainebleau. He also serves as a guest lecturer at several universities, including ETH Zürich, focusing on Operational Excellence and digital manufacturing.
