Adel Emam is the Chief Operations Officer for MENA at JBS Foods, where he oversees manufacturing and supply chain functions across the Middle East and North Africa. With a PhD in Food Processing and over 25 years in the food and beverage sector, he specializes in operational excellence and continuous improvement, ensuring safety, quality, and customer service goals are met. Adel has successfully launched seven new facilities and 21 production lines, focusing on beef, poultry, and seafood products with high-speed automation. He is a strong advocate for food safety and sustainability, implementing initiatives that meet international standards. Additionally, Adel contributes to academia as a lecturer at Cairo University and as an advisory board member at the University of Bolton in the UAE. Based in Dubai, his expertise in lean manufacturing and digital transformation drives innovation and efficiency at JBS.
