Maryam Mellatdoust is the SVP and Global Head of Quality at IFF. Prior to this, she was the SVP of Global Innovation Quality at The Estée Lauder Companies, where she built new quality capabilities across the organization. Known for her strategic thinking that drives organizational growth, she has held various leadership positions at brands like Coty and Philosophy. She is a regular guest speaker at Columbia University and a lecturer at Rutgers University on the “Quality Science Program.” She is also an Executive Sponsor and Mentor for the Women in Supply Chain Network Group. She holds a Master of Science (MS) in Technology from Arizona State University, where she also studied Food Science and Microbiology. She was a research scholar with published work in the “Journal of Food Processing and Preservation”. Additionally, she earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Basic and Industrial Microbiology from Ege University.
