About the speaker: Richard has dedicated almost two decades to Philips, initially as a Research Scientist in the Personal Healthcare division. He later transitioned to the Innovation and Development department at Philips Consumer Lifestyle, focusing on consumer electronics and small appliances. With nearly 12 years of experience in medical devices, he has worked in areas such as magnetic resonance imaging, CT technology, and image-guided therapy (IGT). Currently, he leads the R&D team for the IGT portfolio, covering clinical areas like coronary, vascular, oncology, and spine care. Richard has a Ph.D. in Physics and resides in the Netherlands.
