Brenda Ortiz is Vice President of Short and Medium Range Ground Based Air Defense at Raytheon, an RTX business, where she leads a globally critical portfolio that includes NASAMS, Stinger, Coyote, KuRFS/MRFS, High Energy Lasers, and the Iron Dome system. With over 20 years at Raytheon, she has held senior leadership roles across international programs, including Korea, Taiwan, Qatar, and the broader Indo-Pacific region. Known for her expertise in program execution, cross-cultural collaboration, and lifecycle leadership, she is also a board member at Raytheon-Rafael Area Defense Systems and an advisor for the University of New Haven Women in Leadership Program. Brenda holds an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from UMass Lowell and is a graduate of several executive leadership programs.
