
Zaher Shabani

Profile
Zaher Shabani is currently a Director of Global Regulatory Affairs CMC at Incyte Corporation, where he leads the development, implementation, and execution of regulatory CMC strategies for global submissions of biologic and small molecule programs. Prior to joining Incyte, Zaher served as Head of Product Development Unit within the Office of Technology Development at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Prior to MSKCC, Zaher held roles as Senior Scientist, Manager of Operations, and Senior Specialist at Merck & Co., Inc., working across multiple functions including discovery support, preclinical development, analytical sciences, commercial manufacturing, and global regulatory affairs CMC.
Zaher holds a master’s degree in biotechnology from Columbia University, an MBA in Health Care Management from Johns Hopkins University Carey Business School, and a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from Rutgers University. Additionally, Zaher has completed executive coursework in Artificial Intelligence in Pharma and Biotech at MIT Sloan School of Management.
