Timo Flessner, Ph.D.

Timo Fleßner is the SVP of Global API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient) Production. He has been with Bayer for the last 23 years and has extensive experience in pharma R&D, manufacturing, and product supply. He is currently tasked with overseeing Bayer’s API production in Germany, Spain, and Mexico. He is also a supporter of sustainable initiatives. Aside from his work at Bayer, he is also an advisor to startups and a lecturer at the University of Hannover in Germany. Timo holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry and has an extensive academic background from universities in France and Germany.
