Richard has dedicated almost two decades to Philips, initially as a Research Scientist in the Personal Healthcare division. He later transitioned to the Innovation and Development organization at Philips Consumer Lifestyle, focusing on consumer electronics and small appliances. With nearly 15 years of experience in medical devices, he has worked in areas such as magnetic resonance imaging, CT technology, and image-guided therapy (IGT). Currently, he leads the global R&D organization for the IGT portfolio, covering clinical areas like coronary, vascular, oncology, and structural heart. Richard has a Ph.D. in Physics, is an alumnus of Harvard Business School and resides in the Netherlands.
