About the speaker: Javier Lujan is the Senior Director of Operations at Johnson Controls. Coming from manufacturing roles in Mexico operations early in his career, he believes that servant leadership is the key to success in manufacturing through engagement on a daily discipline that involves decision-making for supervisors, line leads, and ultimately the shop-floor workforce. He understands the interaction of operations, supply chain, manufacturing, equipment automation, design for manufacturing, six sigma and lean, enabling both growth and financial improvement in multiple industries. Before becoming an operations and supply chain leader, he hails from a home of engineers and started his career with studies in Industrial Engineering, complemented with Machinery Design, Business Administration, and Production and Inventory Management certifications. He has successfully managed plants and businesses, improving manufacturing, cash flow, and customer-focused results.
